Support for women leaders through menopause
Restoring clarity, energy and confidence, and leading well through menopause
For women leading through menopause
Menopause tends to fall in the middle of your most experienced (and usually busiest) years, and too often it’s treated as something to endure privately until it passes.
It doesn’t have to be. With the right understanding, this stage can be one of clarity and renewed energy, not stepping back from leadership but finding a more sustainable way to lead.
Many of the women we work with arrive feeling as though they’ve lost themselves: broken sleep, difficult symptoms, focus that used to be automatic, confidence that wavers.
And underneath it, a worry they rarely say aloud, that it reads as weakness, in a role they spent decades earning.
It can feel like a permanent loss, but it’s not.
What’s actually happening
Menopause is defined by falling oestrogen and progesterone, but few people know what those hormones actually do beyond reproduction.
Oestrogen helps shape how your brain and nervous system respond to stress: the system that lets you think clearly, steady your emotions and recover from pressure. As it shifts, that system works differently, which is why you can feel so unlike yourself.
Your body isn’t winding down. It’s adapting, and there’s so much you can do to support it. Many women come through this transition thinking more clearly and feeling more like themselves than they have in years.
This is where restoring your leadership capacity begins.
How we work with you
We can work with you at three levels, depending on what you need
01
Awareness
02
Support
03
Transformation
01
Awareness
For women
A session for women across your organisation, from senior leaders to support staff: understanding what menopause is, what helps, and how to support themselves and each other through it.
For male colleagues
Menopause affects teams, not just individuals. Most male colleagues want to help but aren’t sure how, so we give them the understanding and confidence to support the women they work with.
02
Support
Menopause Champions
A short, self-paced video course that equips Champions to be a knowledgeable, confident guide, not the fixer.
Managers and leaders
Practical training on how to have the conversation, agree adjustments, and respond well when someone asks for help.
03
Transformation
For senior women leaders
Our in-depth programme, Restoring Leadership Capacity During Menopause.
You’ll learn what’s happening in your body and why, and train your nervous system to recover, watching it change through biofeedback. All in a small group of women going through exactly the same thing.
“This programme is a great combination of research and science, practical support, and guided reflection, which Maria leads with such experience and calm guidance.”
Clare, Education Director
The programme in a nutshell
- Four live, interactive 2-hour sessions, spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart

Every woman in our first pilot said she’d recommend the programme to a colleague, and the cohort rated it 9.7 out of 10.
Jo’s Story
When Jo came to us, her symptoms were affecting every part of her life: her sleep, her focus, the way she led. By the end she was sleeping through the night, her hot flushes and night sweats had gone, and the mental precision she’d felt slipping had returned.

Before: an irregular, unsettled rhythm

After: smooth, steady, in control
Supporting your people
Some of your most experienced women are going through this right now, often in silence, afraid it will be read as weakness.
These are often the people who hold things together, and among the hardest to replace. When they step back, or leave education altogether, the cost is far greater than recruitment alone.
Supporting them is increasingly your responsibility as an employer, and one of the clearest ways to keep the experienced leaders you most need.
One in ten women have left a job because of menopause symptoms.
Get ahead of the Employment Rights Act
From spring 2027, organisations with 250 or more employees are expected to publish an Equality Action Plan setting out how they support staff through menopause.
The best-prepared aren’t waiting until they have to. Our free guide explains what’s coming, why it matters, and how to prepare, with a practical Menopause Action Plan template you can adapt.
Start with a conversation
Whether this is for you, or the people you lead, the best place to start is a conversation. We’ll help you find the right support, or tell you honestly if we’re not the right fit.
